Shona Crawford

Shona was born in 1988 in Santa Clara, California. She knew she wanted to be an artist  after watching a Jim Henson instructional VHS on how to be a cartoonist when she was 4 years old. In 2003, her family moved from Northern California to Arizona. Shona attended Glendale Community College for her Associate of Art Degree and then Arizona State University for a BFA in Printmaking. In 2015 she permanently moved to Portland, Oregon to make tattooing a career. Dark, detail oriented, neotraditional/blackwork tattoos featuring insects, hands, surreal objects, flora and fauna, the occult and macabre are her specialty. Shona is also a huge art history nerd, loves watching sci-fi/horror films, reading, hanging out with her beast Tesla, solo-travel adventures, and excessive coffee consumption.
